E. Strategic Planning Focus Group - EESAC
1. What has the District done well over the last year?
a. Electronic grade book
b. Communication at all levels (district to schools) has improved (i.e. Connect Ed.)
c. Inclusion/Mainstreaming
d. School board police response time has improved
2. In what 3 major areas do we need improvement?
a. There should be a fair and equitable way of distributing resources as need. (For example, security monitors).
b. Academically, reading coaches need to be provided fairly to all schools.
c. Communication (especially ITS) need to improve
d. Customer Service
e. Schools must receive more money to implement mandates (i.e. grade book)
3. How can we better work with you to meet our goals of improving education for all students?
a. The state needs to support (give money) so districts can meet state mandates (i.e. finger prints)
